Lumension EIS is a multi-vendor standard, established by Microsoft, Lumension and other security ISVs, that provides unique advancements designed to benefit ISVs and their customers. By participating in Lumension EIS-SIIP, you will ensure that security solutions leveraging EIS will be able to validate the integrity of your software:
- Valid instances of your software will not be targeted or blocked by EIS-enabled security solutions, including future Microsoft security solutions that will leverage EIS
- Corrupted or compromised instances of your software will be quickly identified, reducing customer issues and ISV support costs
